The Fairmont Royal York has two arrival points: the Front Street porte-cochere (the formal one, but it queues up with guests + airport-cab traffic) and the York Street side entrance (faster, fewer eyes). Gloved hand on the door, white ribbons on the hood, champagne chilled in the cabin. The bridal party gets the ceremony; we get everything else.
FROM THE ROAD
The Lincoln Navigator takes the Front Street loading curve cleanly — tall enough that the bride steps out at heel-height onto the carpet the Royal York staff have rolled out, low enough that the green-copper roofline still frames the shot. Bellhops cue the photographer; the chauffeur cues the planner. Bronze revolving doors don't open for everyone.

For the bridal car we choose based on time of day — York at rush, Front for the ballroom-floor reception arrival when we want the photo.
Union Station’s great hall directly across Front for the marble-arches frame; HTO Park lakefront ten minutes south for skyline + water; the Distillery District for industrial-portrait variety; the hotel’s own Library Bar for an interior rain-day frame. All pre-mapped with your photographer at the planner debrief.
Pull up to the reception entrance with planner waiting and DJ cued. Step-out timed with the music intro. Photographer pre-positioned.
Fairmont receptions can run past midnight without a bylaw issue — commercial zoning. We stage at the York Street curb after midnight, quiet exit, hotel-suite drop is a thirty-second elevator ride. Vehicle stays on call until you are inside.
VEHICLE FOR THIS VENUE
Both Fairmont arrival points clear the Escalade. The Sprinter fits the Front Street porte-cochere but the York Street side has a lower entry — we use Front when the Sprinter is in the convoy. Hotel valet pre-notified so we don’t collide with airport cabs.

Across our network we don’t stage stretch limousines for airport, corporate, or hourly bookings — the brand defaults to executive sedan, full-size SUV, and Sprinter for those. Weddings are the one exception.
On request we can stage a Lincoln Continental 8-passenger Stretch Limousine with white-leather interior, classic white ribbon-and-pole option, complimentary champagne service, and a tuxedo-and-cap chauffeur. The stretch joins or replaces the S-Class / Escalade in any of the wedding packages above; price quoted on request via dispatch. 14-day lead time, subject to fleet availability for your date.
